" My daughter Serika (age 7) had a very developed mouth and began getting all her permanent teeth almost all at once. We were given a referral to North Coast Orthodontics for an evaluation. Upon arrival at North Coast Orthodontics we were greeted with friendly and accommodating staff, in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Dr. Schabel did a comprehensive and thorough evaluation, and communicated very clearly what concerns he foresaw. It was quite apparent that Dr. Schabel was very skilled and knowledgable in this field. I felt very comfortable and confident continuing with him, and his staff. We were presented a treatment plan, and everything was explained very clearly. It was also nice to feel their understanding when it came to the financial end, and they were very helpful there too. Beginning the treatment plan most of our visits were with Dr. Schabel, whom not only excels in his profession, but has a true gift in working and communicating with children as well as their parents. I always felt my voice was heard, and any questions I ever had were answered. We were also very pleased with Dr. Chan, who was equally just as good, and also has great bedside manner and skills too. We felt very secure and comfortable being under the care and supervision of two highly qualified doctors. They make a great husband and wife team, and its obvious they truly enjoy what they do! They set high expectations for themselves and staff, and exceed them all. I also like their attention to detail as well as design. Not only are they skilled doctors, they both demonstrate an artistic side of them too, for this ability only enhances the outcome and their end result for their patients. I was so worried when I first brought Thomas here because we hard seen another orthodontist already and I left there in tears feeling like a horrible mom because I couldn't afford treatment for him and their staff made me feel awful. " While I anticipated my child may need braces at some point, as I myself wore them for years, I never expected at 8 years old we'd be going through this. North Coast Orthodontics has been AMAZING! Not at all what I recall from my childhood. The clinic and staff are extremely customer focussed, with a dedication to children! Their clinic is beautiful and welcoming. An easy place for a parent to relax while their child is quickly and carefully waited on. Amazingly kind and friendly, a Hawaiian theme, you'd swear your in the tropics while your child receives unbelievable service. My daughter is excited and looks forward to her appointments....and then their is the service and attention to detail, incorporating games and engaging their patients to take care of their new braces and be responsible for their dental health. I grew up with Dr Schabel, and I was thrilled to know my daughter would be receiving care from someone in and from our own community. NCO is community and family centered and we are so happy to have them caring for our children. "

Not only do my daughters teeth look AMAZING but she is breathing better too. She was anxious and nervous about treatment in the beginning. Two years later her narrow little jaw that had contributed to apnea, is now opened into a wide smile. She emerged today a confident young woman with a beautiful smile. Dr. Schabel and the staff are kind and professional, be it dealing with insurance issues or anxiety, last minute repairs or lost rubber bands. Treatment is modern, from computer modeling to iPads in the waiting room. Picture windows, a waterfall and Hawaiian Islands on the walls- the process was as painless as possible. We have been coming to North Coast ..." We have been coming to North Coast for years, and it is the greatest in every way. The orthodontists and their staff are so nice and helpful, and the explanations of treatment plans are clear and sensible. They are very up-front about how long treatments will take, and, importantly, how much they will cost! There have been no hidden fees or unpleasant financial surprises.

Everyone has also been so great with our kids. They explain what they are doing, and they have a really nice, not-at-all condescending way of talking to the kids. They have also been incredibly patient and positive with our son with special needs.

All of this would be moot if it weren't for the fact that Dr. Schabel has wrought amazing changes on everyone's teeth! We came in with teeth going in all directions, and everyone's teeth have responded to the doctor's treatments. In a shorter time than I imagined possible, our dental messes have become beautiful and easy to care for.

When we first started the journey Sophia felt she was on the younger side so staff sometimes didn't communicate what tools were for what for example which made her a bit timid/ nervous. She also had trouble in the beginning being able to sign in and felt uncomfortable to interrupt staff at the front desk for help as they were busy working. Eight months ago I got my braces off ending my two year contract with them, but even though I was done with my braces career. I know that I can say North Coast and all the amazing staff did an awesome job and continue to, I also know that when I speak for my teeth I can say that North Coast is the place to go. This was ordered on the internet and was huge mistake. I have a tendency to clench and my bite slipped. My molars were crooked and my bite was very off. My name is Lance Skelson and my dau..." My name is Lance Skelson and my daughter Lillian was always wondering when she would be getting braces. Years ago when her adult teeth were growing in, she would always mention her concern about how her front 2 teeth specifically were growing in a bit crooked. I knew it was a matter of time (a little longer than she wished for of course) before we would be able to get her concerns taken care of. As she started getting older, when she turned 12 we finally figured this would be a great time to address her concerns and make her happy and confident with her most important insecurity, her 2 front teeth. When I took her to the dentist and they told her she was ready, she was more than excited. We were recommended here by a local dentist and I am very glad we were, as we have had one of the greatest experiences imaginable for something so important for Lillian. The morning I woke her to let her know it was time she smiled bigger than I have ever seen. We look forward to her getting the confidence and happiness that kids should have with their smile. My experience with orthodontists ha..." My experience with orthodontists has not been favorable until I transitioned both my sons care to North Coast Orthodontics. My oldest son was receiving treatment from another doctor for 5 years and refused to remove his braces for Prom and graduation. Dr. Schabel examined him and agreed to remove the braces. During his examination it was determined that the original doctor's goals would never be reached as a tooth that was removed created a space that could never be closed. My younger son had been seeing the same doctor and we constantly had issues with spacing devices falling out and the team never available at various times of day to accommodate the needed replacement service. With our transition the orthodontic care has been effective,efficient and North Coast Orthodontics uses the most up to date tools, devices and processes for the patients ultimate success. The office team is helpful, kind, knowledgable and efficient. This is the care I have been looking for. I can honestly state that I would highly recommend Dr. Schabel and the North Coast team for orthodontic services "
